PRIVATE FREIGHT TERMINAL (PFT)

• Owns PFT (Private Freight Terminal ) at ICD Sanand with 3 rail sidings  with 1 Brake Van Siding  to handle any rake movements  uninterruptedly.
• These 3 rail tracks are in built with IN -MOTION weighbridge of 120 MT capacity , illuminated with flood lights for smooth night operations .
• Dedicated to and fro double stack rake services to Pipavav from ICD Sanand .
• The rake movements are dedicated to and from gateway ports to Mundra and Pipavav from Sanand & Jodhpur ICDS
• Six dedicated rakes on long term lease ensures smooth, efficient ,faster turnaround for containers to clients for both Domestic and EXIM businesses .
• Hub and Spoke movements can be moved for two or more ICD’S enroute to or from  gateway ports which can reduce dwell time without any addtional freight burden .
• Special Automobile Rakes brought by APL Logistics & Vascor are being handled on regular basis.
• Railway Receipts (RR) preparation facility at Terminal reducing time delays for export rake release .
• Regular to and fro services from ICD Sanand and Jodhpur to the Gateway ports of Mundra and Pipavav..
• Thar Terminals have strategic tie up with other Container Train Operators and thus Sanand Terminal is fast evolving into a Hub for Transhipment of Containers .
